Germany - Dresden to Berlin

The Berlin Victory Column was built in 1873 as a monument to Prussia’s victory in the Franco-German war. It is 67m high with a gilded Victoria, the Goddess of Victory, at the top. It originally stood in front of the Reichstag in today's Platz der Republik but it was relocated to the Tiergarten's main roundabout by the Nazis in 1938.
